The company has clarified that Pune Times Mirror, Ei Samay and NavGujarat Samay have already been divested, while Ahmedabad Mirror is currently operating under a licensing arrangement. BCCL said these publications are no longer under its ownership, management, editorial control or operational oversight.
The clarification is significant for readers, advertisers, media agencies, corporates and industry stakeholders who may still associate these titles with the Times Group due to their historical connection. BCCL has stated that neither it nor Metropolitan Media Company Limited, nor any other Times Group entity, exercises editorial or managerial control over these publications.
According to the public notice, BCCL has also distanced itself from any responsibility or liability linked to the editorial content, business practices, representations, solicitations or conduct of these publications. The company has further indicated that any engagement, transaction or association with the mentioned titles would be at the discretion and risk of the parties involved.
